*Is modelling worth it ???*
I can definitely say its worth it as i am a living testimony;
I live my dream and if one tries out commercial or editorial modelling I can definitely say it really pays off. But i believe that without sacrifices you cant make it in any career because the ball is in our court and same applies to modelling if you dont work hard, you cant make it. As the saying goes, " hard work beats talent if talent doesnt work hard."

Modelling is the practice of displaying trends in costume, showcasing, beauty, and grooming using human beings.
*Types of modelling*
*Fashion (Editorial) Modelling*
This is the type of modelling where they use the faces of models in high fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle.
*Runway Modelling*
Is the type where models are hired to showcase designer's costumes on the runway
*Commercial Modelling*
Under this models are not restricted by age, height, or size. Therefore, this modeling type is the most open to diverse and new talent. Commercial models advertise a wide range of products in catalogs,
*And ofcourse Fitness modelling , promotional modelling*
*How can one start a modelling career?*
Frst of all one has to work on his/her social media platforms, brand yourself on these platforms. Let the people who follow your social media accounts refer to you or describe you as a model depending on how you conduct yourself plus the content you post has to be in the line of your career.
Secondly One has to invest in photoshoots with professional photographers so that you get digitals that you can share with the modeling agencies inorder to get them to accept you. Plus there's what we call a "Test shoot" whivh is when a model collaborates with a photographer to promote eachother's work. The model gets nice photos in return and the photgrapher gets pictures he can use for his brand and its always free of charge meaning the model doesnt have to pay
Thirdly, one has to take polaroids which are the pictures a model takes without make up and these are not editted. Even the back ground has to be plain .The polaroids are the pictures we submit to modeling agencies. The reason they need polaroids is that they want to see your real skin colour abd eye colour so that they get to know whether you much with their qualities.
Lastly, one needs a work plan for his/her career which indicates what you are supposed to do and want achieve plus the specific period of time .For example you can plan for your shoots for this month and for the coming month you plan on getting together your "portifolio" which is a model book which consists of model pictures .
**How to get booked for gigs plus how to get scouted*
Improve on your branding skills; put yourself out there, make yourself visible via social media platforms.
Work on your body keep fit
Work on your skin drink more water
...............to be continued.
