INTRODUCING THE MIND WATCH FOUNDATION...

over the past couple of months my interest in providing safe spaces and educating my friends and I on mental health has grown tremendously, and because of this I have been able to create a better head space for myself and some of my friends and family, and in my effort to make it even available for a larger audience I did sit down with the founders of mind watch foundation ( a new non profit organization that deals with mental health awareness and help) to discuss what the foundation is about and how they plan on impacting society........(dont forget to subscribe to our newsletter for amazing lifestyle content ).
first off I was informed by Patrick the head and cofounder of the foundation that the initiative was as a result of him having been through a state in his life were he needed Someone... to talk to about mental health and as a man society doesn't actually create that room for many men to speak about issues concerning emotions, so he together with ms .Novy founded the mind watch foundation to fill the gap they felt was created for the various people that needed the attention due to mental health challenges. According to research a good number of the LGBT community, and men are very prone to suicide and are receiving very little attention due to discrimination and walls built by society so I had to inquire if the mind watch foundation was any different and was to work with all sort of individuals and to my surprise Novi a cofounder of the foundation stated that since each and everyone of us is likely to suffer from mental health problems them we all should be able to access professional help, meaning the foundation is working with and on each and everyone regardless.
I did also take time to ask for a few of the most common issues they are dealing with and they stated that depression which is mainly because of the negative impact of covid has taken a toll on the masses, many people are losing jobs ,loved ones and opportunities and its forcing them into sadness but luckily they have a good number of professionals (some who have volunteered ) ready to listen and work out Issues with you. ps: you can as well volunteer with them by dm via there various social media sites, the volunteers are also given counselor training so it's a win win......
