HOW TO MAKE YOUR WARDROBE MORE SUSTAINABLE..

As black Friday approaches a good number of us are heavily awaiting the time to swipe our cards and spend some of our hard earned money on a few items ,but if your a fashion freak like me a good chunk is sure going to go into your wardrobe, it be new Jeans, sneakers or even just your fav creators
merch.....but after educating my self on the impact of fashion or the fashion industry to be more precise on the environment I am a bit hesitant to make impulsive and mass shootings ....(I did make a vid that will be live this week on my YouTube channel where I speak of the various impacts of the fashion industry especially fast fashion to the environment and I feel you should watch it for some depth...) but for those of us who already know or just care about the planet here are a few ways you could make your closet more sustainable without even trying........ *thrift thrift and thrift* now I know many of us may not be very informed on the model shopping of thrifting but for a person that has always had something for style thrifting is a very affordable way of getting amazing and sometimes vintage pieces that are going to help you stand out from all these people shopping from fast fashion brands and the good thing is it's also good for the environment because it cuts down on the mass supply which usually stresses resources...... *donate or sell your old clothes* having a lot of clothes lying around that you dont use anymore is actually very common with many people since yall but cloths almost each very day,and after some of these have been worn they are dumped off and I feel like a very good way to put them to use would be to donate them to the homeless or those that actually want or need them, a money making option would be to sell them off to people that have the same taste of style as you... *repair or fix your cloths* because fast fashion produces cheap clothes people usually don't feel the need to repair or fix the small or fixable problems that the cloths face (lmao this sounds wierd but yk).....and because of this more people buy more clothes to replace the ripped or damaged ones instead of just repairing them .... *buy from eco friendly spaces* this looks a bit self explanatory if you ask me but for those of us that love a good paragraph, at least make sure where you buy your clothes, they are eco friendly companies, they pay their workers and stuff (everything is on the internet stop stalking your ex and use that time to make an impact )🐣 *rewear your clothes* because you bought them ....duh but also this brings into light the fact that fast fashion brands make clothes that can't be worn over and over which is sad and embarrassing....... *buy local and support small businesses* they most definitely work very hard and have eco friendly packages most of the time and plus they can take your advice when you tell them about how to make their products more eco friendly .. if you have any more please write them below and follow my pinterest account I have a board where I share content on plastic alternatives and sustainability..... xoxo collin ps :pictures don't belong to me
